Percy Crosby's THAT ROOKIE FROM THE 13TH SQUAD, 1918

A collection of daily panel cartoons featuring a World War I doughboy, Private Dubb, by a very young Percy Crosby. Crosby went on to fame later when he created the long-running comic strip, SKIPPY. See more about Crosby here.

I am not responsible for the great work done on these scans, but I am grateful to an unknown benefactor who did the work and posted this book by an important 20th century cartoonist. Thank you!

  2. 'Twas my scan. Crosby's "Between Shots" is also available on Digital Comics Museum: http://digitalcomicmuseum.com/index.php?dlid=19709
You do have to be a member (free) to download), but I believe anyone can use the preview.
